1.21 GIGAWATTS!
Yes, I took this photo of the Weatherford courthouse at the very moment lightning stuck and a DeLorean streaked by at 88mph.
There’s actually a lot of little things about this exposure I’m still not happy about, but I like it anyway, so I’m posting it.

Don’t worry. As long as you hit that wire with the connecting hook at precisely 88mph the instant the lightning strikes the tower… everything will be fine

If you look at the clock on the tower, it’s 2am, not midnight. So two hours more bored than you’re already imagining.
